On January 9, the Coastal Wetland Conservation Issues Alliance of SEE was established to promote social participation in wetland conservation with concerted efforts.
Society of Entrepreneurs and Ecology (SEE) member enterprises have fulfilled their responsibilities as entrepreneurs and provided assistance and love for the pandemic prevention and control, rainstorms and other disasters. In January, the Working Committee Members of Hebei Project Center made active efforts in fighting against the pandemic and contacting the Council of SEE Conservation to support the pandemic prevention and control in Hebei. The member enterprises such as Dangdai Group and Humanwell Healthcare cooperated with SEE Conservation to assist Hebei Province in the pandemic prevention and control, while ZALL donated the pandemic relief supplies to Hebei and Heilongjiang.
From February 22 to 23, the Fifth Session of the UN Environment Assembly was held online. As one of only two civil society representatives invited to speak, SUN Lili, President of SEE Conservation, delivered a speech at the "Leadership Dialogue" meeting. This is the first time for SEE Conservation to address at the world's highest-level intergovernmental environment conference.
In March, SEE Conservation became China's first global partner of Business for Nature (BfN), calling for natural environmental protection by commercial means. By the end of 2021, 120 SEE members have signed the call to action, that is, "Nature is Everyone's Business", putting into practice the leadership and responsibility of entrepreneurs to the whole society.
From May 1 to 4, more than 200 SEE members, representatives of donators and media workers from all over China gathered at the Ulan Buh Eco-Education Base to participate in the campaign of "100 Million Suosuo Spring Planting" to harness the yellow sand and protect the Yellow River in 2021.
On June 5, the World Environment Day, the 8th Chinese Enterprises Green Compact Forum of SEE Conservation was held, in which government guests, domestic and foreign business leaders, academic authorities and representatives of public welfare organizations attended the Forum to discuss the opportunities and challenges in the process to achieve carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals of China, and exchanged cases and experiences in addressing climate change and achieving low-carbon emission reduction from a global perspective

In July, the Working Committee of Henan Project Center and member enterprises led their employees to carry out voluntary actions and follow-up work. Beijing You Will SEE Eco-Agri Co., Ltd. and 69 entrepreneur members jointly donated "Zen Millet" ready-to-eat and quick-eat products.
From July 23 to 25, the Liaohe River Wetland Conservation Forum was held, at which the Liaoning Forestry and Grassland Administration signed the Memorandum of Strategic Cooperation on the Establishment and Protection of Liaohe National Park with SEE Conservation, exploring a new model of collaborative participation between the government and non-governmental public welfare organizations.
On August 4, the SEE Gansu Project Center was founded.
On August 10, the SEE Qomolangma Project Center was founded.
From September 3 to 11, the 7th IUCN World Conservation Congress took place in Marseille, France. As IUCN members, SEE Conservation and SEE Foundation voted on several governance proposals and regular proposals.

In October, SEE Conservation and the Inner Mongolia Project Center donated supplies to assist Alxa League in the pandemic prevention and control; 78 entrepreneur members and member enterprises of the Shanxi Project Center donated funds for purchasing pumps, excavators and other scarce first-line rescue equipment to help Shanxi Province fight against the rainstorm disaster.
On October 15, SEE Conservation participated in Session I of the 15th Meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP15) held in Kunming, which was aimed at engaging entrepreneurs and other parties to jointly contribute to global biodiversity conservation.
On October 24, the "United Nations Day", SEE Conservation delivered the "Chinese Plan" for Ecological Peace at the 2nd Nanjing Peace Forum of UNESCO.
On October 25, as the first group members of environmental protection organizations, SEE Conservation and SEE Foundation participated in the Global Joint Initiative on the Partnership of Biodiversity and Finance (PBF), in a bid to foster cooperation among all sectors with concrete actions.
From October 24 to 26, the ASEAN-China High Level Forum on Green and Sustainable Development was held, indicating that SEE Conservation would contribute to China-ASEAN mangrove conservation.
From October 31 to November 9, the 26th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 26) was held in Glasgow, England. More than 30 side events were held in "China Corporate Pavilion", showcasing the achievements of Chinese enterprises and social organizations in tackling climate change and sharing China's stories and experiences.
From December 11 to 13, the 2021 Members' Representative Convention was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi, at which the Council, the Board of Supervisors and the Charter Committee delivered work reports and handed over their first-year performance fulfillment reports. In the part of amendment to the Charter at this Convention, the Charter Committee submitted 15 amendments to the Charter and the Organizational Method for Election of the Member Congress. Moreover, this Convention also received three motions co-signed by more than 5% of the members, which were submitted for on-site discussion and voting.
To fight against COVID-19 pandemic, Council of the SEE Conservation had an urgent discussion on New Year’s Eve for taking operations to assist Hubei, which was responded immediately by members. From January 24 to February 25, members and member enterprises of SEE Conservation donated more than 8.47 million yuan in total, and medical supplies with a total value of over 12.5 million yuan to 68 hospitals and units in Hubei Province. Over 150 members in China donated more than 1 billion yuan through different channels. In May, SEE Conservation members donated medical supplies valued over 3.5 million yuan to Italy, Mali, Ethiopia and other countries, demonstrating Chinese entrepreneurs’ responsibility.
SEE Conservation registered as group member unit of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
SEE Conservation, as one of the organizers, participated in the “Renowned Private Enterprises to Hubei” activity initiated by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce to avail Hubei to revive after the pandemic. One hundred and twenty-seven member enterprises launched the “Talents in Hubei Only: Special Recruitment Session” and recruited a total of 6,933 people. Forty-one entrepreneurs provided partner assistance to 6,150 poverty-stricken households in Hubei Province. SEE Conservation was awarded as “Advanced Commercial Organization in Fighting Against COVID-19 Pandemic” by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, and 25 member enterprises were awarded as “Advanced Private Enterprises in Fighting Against COVID-19 Pandemic”.
Year 2020 marked the start of representative system implementation. The first election of member representatives of SEE Conservation was officially launched. The central working committees of 27 projects have been changed and 30 sessions of elections have been held to produce the first session of 275 representatives.
SEE Conservation’s Free Trade Island Project Center was launched.
SEE Conservation participated in public fund-raising activities such as Tencent’s 99 Giving Day, Alibaba’s 95 Philanthropy Week, and Weibo’s Renren Charity Festival, which were supported by 910,000 SEE members and the public and raised a donation revenue of 20.48 million yuan.
SEE Conservation Liangshan Project Center was officially established.
The first member congress of SEE Conservation was held in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, attended by 267 participants, including 255 representatives on site and 12 online, achieving a total attendance rate of 96%. The 8th session (2021-2023) of manage team was elected from 42 candidates.
Ai Luming, the 7th President of SEE Conservation was elected as “2018-2019 Green China: Person of the Year” jointly by six ministries including the Ministry of Ecological Environment.
As the G20 Summit held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, SEE Conversation and other international institutions like F20 and Wyss Campaign for Nature jointly released Responding to Biodiversity and Climate Crises with “Nature-based Solutions”. It also supported The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to release the Chinese version of Global Environment Outlook VI, the first UN official language version in addition to English.

SEE worked with the Netherlands NO.5 Foundation and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) to jointly launch the Rhino Conservation Business Leaders Alliance Plan aiming to build a global rhino conservation campaign and refuse to consume rhino products.

The 7th Chinese Enterprises Green Compact Forum and the 8th SEE Award Ceremony were held. SEE Volunteer Program was launched and people from all walks of life participated in it to build a better future.

During the New York Climate Summit, SEE hosted a reception meeting themed "SEE A BETTER FUTURE". On the 15th anniversary of its founding, SEE displayed the growth process and environmental protection results of China on international stages.

In 2018, the General Meeting of SEE Members was held. The meeting discussed and passed the vote on transforming SEE Conservation’s the "membership convention system" to the "members' representative convention system"
SEE attended the 24th UN Climate Change Conference and co-hosted a side meeting on "Building a Business Climate Action Platform" with Vanke Charity Foundation and C Team.

Mr. Liu Xiaoguang, Founding President of SEE, passed away due to illness, and "his glory of goodness would last forever".
The " Alliance of Green Consumption and Green Supply Chain " of the Ministry of Environmental Protection was formally established, and SEE acted as the deputy director unit of the Alliance.
SEE delegation participated in the Foundation Platform 20(F20)held in Hamburg, Germany. SEE, as the only foundation in China, selected as the first member unit of F20.

The 13th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) was held for the first time in Erdos, Inner Mongolia, and SEE’s desertification control entered the international arena for the first time.

The Third UN Environment Assembly was held in Nairobi, Kenya. This is SEE’s debut at the UN Environment Assembly. As a member of the steering committee of the "Science-Policy-Business" Forum of the United Nations Environment Programme, SEE attended and shared environmental protection cases and its green supply chain projects.
Shandong Project Center was established.
SEE focused on desertification control, green supply chain and pollution control, ecological protection and nature education by taking the development of environmental protection and public welfare industries as its cornerstone. "Free Flying Wings", "Noah's Ark", "Green Supply Chain Action in Real Estate Industry in China", "Save the Smile of Yangtze River - Conservation of the Yangtze Finless Porpoise" and "Blue Defenders" were launched.
Hubei Entrepreneurs Environmental Foundation was established (renamed Hubei Changjiang Conservation Foundation in June 2017).
The first SEE public finance class opened.
By celebrating "99 Giving Day" in 2016, SEE received 179,000 person-times of support and donations worth 24.177 million CNY in three days, ranking top 10 among national public welfare donations and first in the environmental protection field.
Alxa SEE Museum of Ecological Protection officially opened.
A side conference was held at the 22nd Conference of the Parties to The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Chang, releasing the latest results of China's real estate industry's green supply chain action and the environmental benefit assessment report.
Anhui Project Center was established.
SEE successfully filed two charitable trusts, which were the first charitable trusts in China for which a charitable organization acted as a single trustee. The trusts were selected as "Top Ten Hot Spots in Charity Industry 2016" in China Philanthropy Blue Book compiled by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
SEE reached strategic cooperation with multiple enterprises, hatched a social enterprise "Weixi" and launched "Ren Xiaomi", a brand of millet in desert oasis.

"100 million Suosuo Project" was launched. It aims to restore the vegetation of 2 million mu (about 133,333 hectares) desert by planting 100 million Suosuo in the key ecological areas of Alxa in 10 years (2014-2023).
SEE Foundation was upgraded to a public fund-raising foundation.
The "Blue Sky Defense Fund" was launched and its strategy was adjusted to "Blue Defenders" in 2016.
SEE, together with multiple NGOs and its members, jointly issued the "Yabuli Environmental Protection Joint Action Commitment".

During the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development held at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (Rio +20 Summit), SEE, together with Chinese NGOs and Chinese enterprises, held a series of events titled China Going Green.
Then President Feng Lun delivered a speech at the Rio+20 Summit.
Shenzhen Mangrove Wetlands Conservation Foundation (MCF) was formally established, which is the first local public fund-raising foundation for environmental protection initiated by the non-governmental organizations in China.

SEE Green Future - China Green Contract Dialogue and I SEE U-China Entrepreneurs' Public Welfare Night was held in Beijing. SEE started to promote green economy.
The project of "Growing Up Together" was launched.
SEE North China district was established (later renamed North China Project Center).
SEE South China district held its third meeting in 2011, announcing that the "7th Joint Meeting of Directors and Supervisors of the Third Council of SEE" passed the proposal of "Establishing Mangrove Special Fund" and the fund was formally founded.
SEE Southwest China district was established (later renamed Southwest China Project Center).
SEE Taiwan district was established (later renamed Taiwan Project Center).
SEE East China district was established (later renamed East China Project Center).
During the COP16 in Cancun, SEE Conservation, together with international NGO climate group, Vanke Charity Foundation, Vantone Foundation, Lao Niu Foundation andChina Grand Enterprises, jointly hosted the "China Day" event. SEE leads Chinese non-governmental environmental protection action to the international stage.
Alxa was rated as "the landmark of the Republic of China" by Sina on the grounds that "it is the symbol of China's environmental protection, representing the attempt of China's emerging entrepreneurs to undertake social responsibility."
SEE South China was established (later divided into Shenzhen-Hong Kong Project Center and Pearl River Project Center).
During the 15th UN Climate Change Conference (COP15), more than 200 Chinese representatives, including entrepreneur members of SEE, as the only local public welfare organization in China holding consultative membership with the United Nations Environment Programme, jointly issued the Chinese Enterprises’ Copenhagen Declaration.
Then President Wang Shi led SEE members to the United States to visit famous public welfare organizations and learn from their management experience. It may be the first time in Chinese history for organizing Chinese entrepreneurs to visit the United States to learn the experience of public welfare.
SEE Conservation initiated the establishment of SEE Foundation (the Beijing Entrepreneurs Environmental Protection Foundation).
SEE Conservation (Society of Entrepreneurs and Ecology, the "SEE Conservation") was formally founded beside the Moon Lake in Tengelitala, Alxa.
SEE launched its first ecological protection and community development project "Pilot Program of Energy Substitution and Protection of Community of Natural Suosuo (haloxylon) Forest".
