Why join the SEE Conservation?
The SEE Conservation is currently the most influential business environmental organization in China, serving as the preferred platform for entrepreneurs to participate in environmental public welfare and practice environmental and social responsibility. What are the rights and obligations of joining the SEE Conservation?
According to the SEE Conservation Articles of Association, any member has the right to vote on major issues of the SEE Conservation, make suggestions and criticisms on the work of the SEE Conservation, and vote for and be elected as members of the board of directors, supervisory board, and articles of association committee. At the same time, any member is obliged to abide by the articles of association of the SEE Conservation and pay membership fees on time.
What are the forms of member activities?
The SEE Conservation annually organizes a diverse array of member activities with rich themes, generally categorized into five types: 1. Networking among members; 2. Mutual visits and learning between member enterprises; 3. Participation of members (enterprises) in local environmental protection activities; 4. Overseas visits and inspections, participation in meetings of international organizations such as the United Nations; 5. The general membership meeting of the SEE Conservation.

How to handle corporate income tax deduction (tax exemption)?
The Beijing Entrepreneurs Environmental Protection Foundation has the qualification for tax exemption on donations made for public welfare purposes.
Member companies can handle the corporate income tax deduction for the previous year before the end of May each year by bringing the following documents:
(1)A joint confirmation document of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Finance, Beijing Municipal Taxation Bureau, Beijing Local Taxation Bureau, and Beijing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau on the qualification for tax deduction of donations to public welfare organizations (this document will be emailed to the relevant person in charge of member companies by the SEE Conservation’s secretariat after the annual qualification review is completed).
(2)A unified receipt for public welfare donations in Beijing (each time the membership fee is paid, the SEE Conservation’s secretariat will send it to the relevant person in charge of member companies within five working days).
(3)An annual inspection conclusion of the SEE Foundation (sent to the relevant person in charge of member companies by email by the SEE Conservation’s secretariat in May each year).
Due to the different deadlines for corporate income tax settlement and payment across various provinces and cities, member companies are advised to inquire about the specific deadlines from the local tax authorities.
